There's a million things I haven't done. And seeing my life slip through my fingers like that, was the scariest thing I could've experienced at my age. It was like everything I did in this short life was for nothing. My school. My hobbies. My friends... Oh God, Yuuki...

???: Looks like we're in the same class again.

A hand touched my shoulder. As I turned around I met the eyes of my best friend, Yuuki.

Mio: Yuuki! I haven't seen you all summer, what have you been up to?

Yuuki: Hi Mio! Remember that game I told you about? I've been playing that all summer, and finally made it into the top 2,000 in Japan.

Mio: I don't really remember, sorry, but good job!

Yuuki: Uhm... Are you coming to the party tonight?

Mio: I am, but my parents won't let me go without bringing my sister along.

Yuuki: Well, that doesn't matter, does it? As long as you have fun!

Yuuki never failed to make me smile. I was kind of disappointed that I had to bring my sister at first, but Yuuki managed to make me feel better about it.

Mio: Alright, guess I'll see you tonight.
